我家后面的马路旁是一个花园，不知何时响起了熙熙攘攘的音乐。全是年事已高的婆婆们在那舞蹈，但也还是有许多的小孩子在那里玩耍。有玩老鹰捉小鸡的，“老鹰”狡猾得像一只狐狸，一会儿往这跑，一会儿往那跑，累得“母鸡”气喘吁吁;也有玩警察抓小偷的，无忧无虑的孩子们在花园中嬉戏打闹，像一只只出生不久的小牛犊，散发着儿童的活力。
我绕过玩耍的孩子们，走到花园附近，偶一转头，一个十三四岁的少年引起了我的注意，他胖胖的身材，肥嘟嘟的脸，细长的眼睛中流露出无尽的悲伤与忧郁。这是为什么呢?他为什么不同其他孩子一样学着老人们的样子舞动，而是蹲在草丛中玩着弹珠?那各色的没有生命的弹珠，在他手中像是有了生命般的小柔球，跳来跳去。
“我能参加吗?”他抬头看了看我，神色慌张地抓起了自己的弹珠往另一个方向逃了。“哥哥你别跟他玩，他每天都这样。”一个小男孩跟我讲。
我支走小男孩后回头看看，那个胖男孩跟一个妇人站在一起，妇人似乎注意到我了，赶紧拉着少年的手走了。
第二次遇见他还是在这个花园，我冲上去问那个妇人能和少年一起玩吗?我也喜欢玩弹珠，他玩得好厉害。妇人先是怔了一下，随后问道：“真的吗?你不介意我的孩子是一个残疾人吗?”
“不会介意的。”我不能因为别人身体上的缺陷就有意地远离别人。更何况我还算是一个受过教育的少年呢!这时我看到妇人的眼睛似乎在闪烁，向自己的孩子摆了几个手势，小男孩的神情十分复杂，向我冲了过来。
“你真的要和我玩吗?”我点了点头。他又说：“我很厉害哦!不会我可以教你!”“好的，谢谢。”他像没听见似地又重复了一遍刚才的话，此时我明白他是“听觉残疾”了。我拉住他的手，用食指在他的手心中写了“谢谢”两个字。他很开心，便和我在草地上玩起了弹珠。
不久，天越来越黑，公园少了许多喧闹的气氛，时间不早了，我也该走了。我在他的手上画了个月亮，又用手指指天上。他点了点头，便自个儿往阴暗的'地方跑去了。
到了第三天，他依旧呆在之前出现的地方。那天的他有些不同，他的耳朵上戴了一个白色的绕在耳旁像耳机的东西。我跑了过去用同样的方式画了个问号，并摸了摸他的耳朵。
他明白了过来。“这是耳朵，我在听音乐。我也可以听见悦耳的声音。”“我也可以听吗?”我接过他递给我的耳机，我戴上了那个“耳机”，顿时觉得周围的声音提高了好几倍。我取下“耳机”，表示音乐很好听。能再借给我听听吗?他爽快地答应了。
跟他分别后，我发现他的助听器仍在我的手中，一回头，早已不见他的踪影，“只好下次还给他了。”我念叨道。我回到家中，盯着这对助听器，喃喃道：“虽然他耳朵听不见，但他心中充满了生活的音符。他的眼睛和嘴巴，虽不能与社会保持密切的联系，可是只要他充满对生活的激情，精神上就会感受到真正的乐音。
朋友，如果你是残疾人，你会对生活充满信心和希望吗?如果你是正常人，你是否愿意去重新燃起残疾人心中渴望的火把?
