今天很高兴，通过了职称英语的A级考试，成绩是91分，现谈一点自己复习考试的心得。
一、先做分数多的题，并尽力保证正确性。如阅读理解，每题3分；补全短文，每题2分。
二、阅读理解。做阅读理解时，先做题（不看文章），再读文章，然后再做一遍题，以验证先前所做的对错。事实上，很多阅读理解题，我们没有必要读原文，只凭自己的生活经验、题感和各题信息的相互参照就可以做出。做完题后再读原文，只是进一步的验证而已。
三、完型填空。先凭语感不看选项，当作填空题试做，仍后再看选项验证；不一定按照顺序，先将有把握的做出，再做拿不准的。
四、阅读判断题。对与错皆好判断，关键是“not mentioned”。“not mentioned”实际相当于“半对半错”――即据原文推理，题目的说法可能正确也可能错误。
五、补全短文。使用“尝试法”：先细读各选项，理解其含义；再读短文，每填一空，逐项尝试使用各个选项。――“概括大意与完成句子”的题也可使用此法。
六、所有的阅读题，都有一个共同的重要技巧――落实到原文中，找出具体的位置，
七、用好词典。不要选太大的字典，我觉得词典越小越好，在考试能在短时间内查到单词；而太厚的字典，在查阅时会浪费时间。其次，在考场上先尽量不使用词典，先做出自己有把握的题；没把握的标志，实在做不出时，最后再查词典。
八、选好工具。一定要选正宗的2B铅笔，保证涂卡质量。另外，也要准备好小刀和橡皮。
九、短期训练。在考前的前两三天，一般不要过多地做大的阅读类题，而是尽量多地做“词汇选择”类小型的题，容易见成效。

全国职称外语等级考试每年的报名人数在110万人左右，根据笔者所掌握的信息，全国的总体通过率一直徘徊在50%左右，每年有一半考生能达到60分，
但是，凡是参加培训班的考生，我们掌握的有北京、重庆、成都、长沙、青岛、南宁等几个城市数据，平均通过率在90%左右。
造成这40%的差异，其原因不外乎有三，其一：考生基础差或丢弃英语时间太长；其二：对于职称英语考试的特点认识不足；其三：工作忙没有时间复习准备或没有认真对待。根据以往的经验，第二条原因是众多考生的未能一次过关的罪魁祸首，
第一条基本可忽略不管，除非该考生从未学过英文。还有部分人疲于工作，无暇顾及考试，匆匆应对，难免铩羽而归。为什么这么说?因为职称英语考试从来都不是考察考生的英语水平的，虽然其设立的初衷是，它实际考察的是考生对教材的熟悉程度和答题速度，抓住这两点，就等于扼住了职称英语的命门。进而言之，熟悉教材是因为每年的试卷中都有30多分的题目来自教材，如何在短时间内牢记上百篇文章是复习准备的关键所在；答题速度之所以也会决定考试成败，是因为考试仅有120分钟，考生要在120分钟内完成15道词汇题和7篇文章的阅读与答题，按照传统的`从前到后每题必答的办法，根本不可能及格。倘若考生的复习准备从以上两个方面着手，再辅以认真的态度，一次过关绝非难事。
大家切不可因自己的基础差而丧失信心，因为英语基础的好坏是能否过关的最无关紧要的因素。把握特点，有的放矢地提早准备才是关键。
